My name is Brenna Conlon and I am the speech-language therapist at Stocker Elementary School. My goal is to make this web page educational, informative, fun and interactive for those who “stop by.” I am looking forward to an exciting, productive year working with you and your child. Throughout my experiences, I have become committed to involving parents/guardians in their child’s speech-language progress. I firmly believe that I am much more able to help your child’s speech and language skills progress when you and I work as a team.
Throughout the coming school year, our speech and language activities will include many games, small projects, activities and may even include several cooking lessons. I have found that children not only learn many things through play and concrete activities, but they can be highly motivating as well. If your child is allergic to any specific foods/ingredients, please let me know in writing as soon as possible.
I will attempt to keep in touch with you throughout the year. Please, feel free to contact me as well, should you have any questions or concerns. Please be patient with me in returning your phone calls or responding to your e-mails, as upholding my therapy schedule is my first priority and often do not have time during the school day to respond. I will try my best to get back to you as soon as I can. I look forward to meeting with you and working with your child throughout the school year. Thanks for “visiting” and we’ll talk soon!
