Ms. Strenger

Counselor’s Corner

As your school counselor, I will be consulting with teachers throughout the year to assist in providing the best school program for your child. I will be conducting developmental guidance lessons in your child’s classroom on topics such a confidence, cooperation and making choices, and will also be available to meet with your child individually or in small groups.

If you have any questions or concerns, or if you feel that your child would benefit from meeting with me in an individual or small group setting, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Meet Mrs. Strenger

I have been teaching for eleven years in the Kenosha Unified School District, joining the Stocker staff in December of 2008. Currently I am going into my fifth year as a school counselor at Stocker. I am looking forward to working with all the students, teachers, and parents this school year.  I received my BA from Cardinal Stritch University and also obtained my master’s degree in school counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

I enjoy working with children, teachers, and the families of Stocker students.  I believe it is important to learn how to get along with others, to understand how to make good choices and solve problems in a way that okay for everybody.

When I’m not working at Stocker, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband Tom and my two sons Ethan and Harrison. I enjoy running, reading, traveling, and of course spending time with my family. I am looking forward to meeting you and hearing all about what you like to do, too.

I am excited to be the counselor at Stocker!  If you think I can be of assistance, please feel free to contact me 262-359-2019. or email me at
